Priya’s rule on the wall is short: subject, verb, screen, and a ban on sharing a name across two controls. appt_confirmed had been living on both “review details” and “pay deposit.” A new hire in April treated them as one act. The deposit screen was a later invention; the name was not.
A name that describes a mood — delight, success, wow_tap — ages faster than a name that points at a control. Moods move in copywriting. Controls stay until someone ships a new sheet.
The half-day session is not copywriting. It is an agreement about what may be counted as the same act next quarter, when the person who named it is on leave.
